Dustin:
Dustin, who was born in Santa Cruz, CA, moved to Kenya, Africa with his family when he was six. They lived there for 11 years and traveled to other countries as well. This gives him a multicultural perspective on both life and God. He started leading worship in home groups when he was 16. After graduating high school, he moved to Redding, CA to attend Bethel Church’s School of Supernatural Ministry. After completing the 3 year program he continued living in the area for the next few years. During this time he played on the worship teams at Bethel Church for Brian and Jenn Johnson and others. He traveled on Kim Walker-Smith’s band and led the worship for Awakening Cry a worship and prayer night. During this time he was also helping develop newer musicians.
In late 2006, he moved to Vacaville and married Savannah. They started youth pastoring in early 2007 and were the youth pastors at The Mission, under Dave and Deborah Crone and Dan and Regina McCollum, until June 2010. Here, He continued to develop musicians, lead worship at different churches, and perform at coffee shops and concert venues.
In early 2010, he felt God beginning to lead in a new direction which resulted in stepping down as the youth pastor and pursuing this heart’s dream full time. He and Savannah are currently the worship pastors at Northbay Foursquare Church in Vallejo, CA serving under Foch and Debbie Fuller.
Savannah:
The Mission in Vacaville, CA has been Savannah’s home church since birth. She attended The Mission’s 2 year school, Potter’s House School of the Supernatural, in 2004. Savannah has a heart for worship and began singing background vocals on her youth worship team in high school and has continued with leading worship and participating on teams.
Her passion for the nations and travel was awakened in 2000 on her first mission trip to Fiji. Since then she has traveled several times back to Fiji and also to China and India.
Savannah married Dustin in 2006. They have 3 children Tristan, Cohen, and Aria. Savannah has graduated at UC Davis majoring in Art Studio and Psychology, heading in the direction of becoming an Art Therapist.
“My dream is to work with children and families around the world in ways that will release healing. I feel that having art therapy as a resource will enable me to bring the Father’s love crossing language barriers in other nations through the universal language of art.”
